All websites keep pestering us about cookies and maintenance or security applications keep warning us of the risks that cookies represent. If you are a MS Edge user and you want to know what kind of information is stored in these cookies, EdgeCookiesView can help you. This simple little application is capable of reading all cookies stored by this browser. It presents the information right in front of you and it lets you copy and export it so you can use it elsewhere.

You can have EdgeCookiesView up and running in no time, because it doesn't need to be installed. Just extract its executable from a ZIP archive and run it. The application is designed to work with newer versions of the Edge browser, from the Fall Creators Update 1709 of Windows 10 onward. Also, EdgeCookiesView is offered completely free of charge.

When launched, the application immediately displays Edge's cookies on its compact user interface. They are displayed in a list, along with numerous details, including host names, paths, values and sources. You can scroll left and right to see these details, but you can also bring up a properties window for each cookie, where the information is easier to read.

Besides reading the cookies stored in your installed Edge browser, the application is capable of reading them from other sources as well. All you have to do is open up the application's Advanced Options menu and specify the path to an external database file. Unfortunately, you will have to type the path, because there is no Browse button.

Regardless of where the cookies come from, the information can be saved in plain text files or in tab delimited text files, in HTML, CSV and other formats. The application saves only the entries you have selected, so you can export only the ones you need. Alternatively, you can copy the information from individual entries to the clipboard, if you need to use it in other projects.

All the cookies created and stored by MS Edge can be retrieved and placed right in front of you, at a moment's notice, thanks to EdgeCookiesView's efficient functionality.

Pros

You can view all the cookies in MS Edge on a single window. The application lets you copy the information and export it in various formats.

Cons

There are no serious issues to address.
